ABOUT AUSHEALTH
The AusHealth charity supports the development of Australian health tech
SINCE 1985, IT HAS INVESTED…
IN NEW TECHNOLOGIES,
THERAPIES AND TREATMENTS

AusHealth is a self-funded research charity dedicated to growing Australian health tech.
We support scientists, engineers and AI developers across the nation in the pursuit of that most precious of things – a medical breakthrough.
Crucially, we also support the ‘translation’ required to transform these breakthroughs into thriving, commercial entities. At its simplest, we take the science out of the lab and into the world of clinical trials, investment and improved healthcare.
In 2026 alone, we spent $5.38 million on 20+ health tech projects.
We’re talking genetically engineered immunotherapies to treat childhood cancer, designer proteins derived from spider venom to treat crippling skin disorders and AI-powered clinical solutions to relieve the chronic pressures on our doctors and nurses.
Remarkably, AusHealth’s charitable proceeds are entirely self-funded.
We oversee three commercial operations: we provide financial management services for healthcare; we are the nation’s largest provider of drug and alcohol testing services; and we invest in the Australian health tech ventures we help to establish.
If you’d like to join us on our mission for a healthier tomorrow, we gratefully accept donations!
